Stopped in to price some tires for my new truck, I was welcomed by Mick and he was quick to get me a price and availability. Dropped the truck off at 8:00 and it was ready by noon. Priced right the first time and they provided me with rebate information.

Small town shop that does quality work at an honest price on a reasonable timetable. They have worked on a few different things for me and have always done a great job.

Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Friends from ISU recommended this shop so I came in looking for a new set of tires. The staff helped get me the best value for my needs and were able to fit me in their schedule within the week! The tires they helped me pick are great quality and they were installed well with no issues. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for new tires.

Today I blew a tire on my vehicle and was stranded on the side of the road about 2 miles away from the shop. I called around 3:30 and they said they were coming, and by the time 5 pm, the time that the shop closes came around, there was still no one to help me in sight. At this point I had been stranded on the side of the road for an hour and a half, so I called someone to pick me up and we went to the shop so that we could get this fixed, and when we went in there they told us that someone had been sent a while ago to fix it. We headed back out and by the time we got there, there was still nobody. We called the shop to ask, who had informed us that in the under ten minutes it took us to go there, talk to them, and come back, they had already been out there and left. They then told us that

I have been doing business with Big 8 for 20 years. This last experience will probably be my last. My truck was there for 4 days and the work was never completed. I was told repeatedly that the work would be done the next day if I could just leave it one more day, only to be told that the day got really busy and they didnt get it fixed when I went to pick it up. The 2nd star was for the years of great service. Sad as the bisiness is very close to me and I like to support local business.
