Billys mobile mechanics

Water pump went out on my truck and I called Bill. Bill showed up at my house within a couple hours. No runaround, no excuses. Got straight to work and got it done right. Price was more than fair, especially for a house call. Even topped off my windshield washer fluid for free. Hard to find honest mechanics anymore, but Bill is the real deal. Brunswick county has a good one here!!!!!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I wanted to be sure to leave a review because I’m impressed with the service. I have a 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan and found out that I may need to code the battery when I replace it. No auto parts store could do it, and of course the nearest dealership is in Wilmington and charges quite a bit to even look at it. Took a chance and looked for a mobile mechanic to try to take care of the issue before the weekend was up. My phone call was immediately answered and he promptly made time for me the following morning. Long story short, he not only fixed my problem, but also took a look at some other minor issues that I had and took care of them too. My brakes started grinding all of a sudden, then locked up. I was stranded 40 minutes away from home, away from my kids. It was terrifying!! I found a ride home, amd then the next day, I got Billy's info from a friend, and when I called him, he listened to my description of the issue and decided it was time to go take a look. He picked me up from home and we went to where my suburban was stranded. He diagnosed the issue, all while keeping me in the loop, even breaking things down for me when needed. Billy rescued me by replacing a starter in my driveway. Kept me apprised of his job completion in Winnabow, when he got to the parts store he called to discuss pricing, and properly identified the problem over the phone that the Ram mechanics couldn't diagnose months earlier. Took him 1.5 I'm the dark but at 9:45pm I was back on the road. Oh...and was a fraction of the cost of my regular mechanic. Highly recommend!
