Bishop Automotive Center

I am a Rivian R1T owner and it is hard to find good automotive shops to service the tires and alignment. This place is the BEST! They were able to get in the special tires I wanted. Mounted them with all the right equipment. That technician was superb! After a couple days I went back for the alignment. Jason’s performed the work and I was so impressed by the dedication to ensure he got it right. Great staff were great all around. From Tyrell and the lady (Chris I think), everyone was professional, courteous and best of all, friendly.

I had broken down on the mountain near “toms place, CA” this week. The tow truck driver, Curt, recommended this mechanic since he knows the owner (Curt doesnt work for them, he’s independent) they had a full days worth of appointments but were able to fit me in, diagnose the problem and order the part to be delivered next day. They seem to be one of the only mechanics in the area that do work on sprinter vans/RVs and bigger vehicles like that. I definitely appreciate their help in an emergency…I would definitely recommend giving them your business!

My son was on his way to Mammoth and had unrepairable flat. Nate was a great help communicating with me out of hours to order a new matching tire and get him back on the road. He really cared about taking care of my son and that meant a lot. Highly recommend Bishop Auto.

Great place and helpful. I was stuck there with a rental that wouldn't pay for replacement of a tire. They took care of it quickly and professionally. Don't live in Bishop but if I did I would go anywhere else ,

Nate and Brad truly saved our holiday and restored our faith in humanity. We are visiting from the UK, driving through the USA, and our rental car broke down just outside Death Valley on our way to Vegas. After an overnight stay in Lone Pine, the replacement car we received had an oil leak, leaving us stranded for a second day. Alamo were unhelpful, and by 3 PM it was clear the third car wouldn’t arrive, our holiday was falling apart, and we had already missed our first night in Vegas. Nate stepped in, arranged a tow to Vegas, and allowed us to ride along with the car. This morning, Brad showed up and drove us and the car to Vegas safely.
