I'll be honest when I say I am always scared going to new mechanics with my cars and by far Bill is one of the best. I was recommended here by a family friend and I will be ensuring to come here and work with Bill's schedule to get my car worked on. Please be patient and ensure to make an appointment, or stop by and ask when in the week or so he can look at your car. I don't care what bad reputation people give Paterson as an area, they are an amazing people at this shop here and I recommended it highly.

Honest guys hard workers reasonable dependable

If you read the other comments, you'll see that Bill is a skilled mechanic & kind person. HOWEVER, if you're planning to drop off your car, you should make an appointment. If you can't reach him by phone, stop by early in the week and ask what day he might be able to work on your car. Fridays seem very busy, so I wouldn't recommend bringing your car in then. There's no guarantee on quick turnaround time, it depends on the size of the job & volume of other cars. Bill's normally a quiet guy who will treat you with respect, and he genuinely cares about people.

Bill is an exceptionally intelligent man with tremendous knowledge of his craft. He's not only an excellent mechanic, he's an incredible human being. Took my car to a local mechanic and when I got it back, it was running worse than when I brought it in. A friend suggested that I bring it to BK, so I did. Bill got into my car and within minutes replaced a part, told me to take it for a ride and let him know how it's running. It ran better than when I purchased it used. The price for the repair was insanely reasonable. LORD willing, Bill will be around for the rest of my car driving days. I'll never go anywhere else. God Bless Bill.

Been going here with my dad since I was a kid. Now I get my car fixed here. Your first time here, you may have difficult time figuring out where to go and where to put your car since the parking lot situation can be tight, and there is no formal entrance; but they do an effective job for a good price. You'll become more familiar with the process the more you go here.
