Black's Tire & Auto Service

Had a appointment set up for 8am 4 days ahead of time. The service was to drain transmission fluid l, change filter and refill. I was quoted between $150 - $175 over the phone. Got there for the appointment, took an hour for them to get to my truck. Within 2 minutes of pulling the truck in the bay the service writer came out saying that it would be $800 because they would have to remove the exhaust and there isn't a way to fill it back up. Well that may work on someone that doesn't work on vehicles themselves. (I didn't have the time to do it myself so I figured I'd pay a professional). Their Work is good, timing is not. My first oil change service here was great. My second time not so. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time, was quoted a 45-60min wait. Great. I stayed in the waiting room. Good thing I did as if I hadn't, I'd still be waiting lol. After seeing my car untouched over an hour past my appointment I had to go to the reception desk to tell them I needed to go to work and I needed my oil changed soon. Apparently they were behind. No one let me know or anything. They then serviced my car. But I got very inconvenienced and left miffed. They should have at minimum offered me something to repair the issue, as I lost time and had to initiate the service getting done.

Exceptional customer service and value. Great communication and completion time. I live in Franklinton which is 30 minutes away and will go to Black's for any service needs going forward. Highly recommended.

I recently took my vehicle to Black’s Tire & Auto Service in Oxford, NC for an issue i was having with the vehicle, and I was very impressed with the experience. The staff were friendly, courteous, and professional from start to finish. They got me in quickly, explained the needed repairs in a way I could understand, and kept me informed before doing any work. The repair was done efficiently and correctly, and I felt like they treated me fairly with pricing. Overall, I’m very pleased with how I was treated and how my car runs now. I would absolutely return for future service and would recommend them to others in the area.
