Blue Compass RV Manteca

I would probably rate 4.5 stars if I could figure out how to give a half star extra Go deal with camping world before you deal with blue compass. Night and day difference. Camping world was high pressure and slime all the way around. Not so much at blue compass. Plus the PDI fee and campers are better priced at blue compass. Armando was our sales guy, and he was fantastic. We ended up buying a completely different camper than the one I was originally shopping for because of him and my wife is very happy with it. Jesse the sales manager gave us a little pressure, but nothing too firm and was very reasonable. Fred the guy that walked me through the pickup process was great. The salesperson we worked with was easy to work with. He made himself available, and followed up a respectful number of times between our initial inquiry and final purchase. We appreciated that he didn't hound us. The dealer has lots of inventory, all well kept and easy to access for viewing. During the purchase process, we were pressured to buy the extended warranty/service contract. We politely declined, but the financial person kept pressing, then returned to the topic a few minutes later to try to convince us. When we more firmly declined, she pretended to accept our answer, but a few minutes later left the office and in walked another person (presumably her manager) to again try to pressure us to make the extra purchase. We had an excellent experience at blue compass rv in Manteca. Christina was fantastic! We already knew what we ideally wanted but she helped seal the deal. April in finance was great to work with! Ashley called us a few days later and set up our walk through and told us where to go and what to do. On the day of the walk through and orientation, they put on our hitch and sway bar on. Fred was great as he walked through everything with us and was thorough. Super nice and informative. We bought a few recommendations from the parts department and they were just as helpful. The sales experience was fine. We were very straightforward in how we wanted to get it done and they were accommodating. When discussing the delivery process the Service Manager told me to call him if I needed assistance with a fifth wheel hitch. I called him and he never returned my call. Another person asked me if I wanted toppers installed, at which point I said I was interested in getting a quote. It took about two weeks and two other calls to get the price. I also had a tough time getting a warranty service appointment scheduled. I voiced my frustration to our salesperson and finally got some attention. My hope is things will be better moving forward.
