Don’t think I will ever use this place again. Had entire Ac replaced in an older vehicle and just a little over a year the ac is leaking Freon already. And is passed the one year warranty. Also took a family member car in for replace of a starter. It sat for weeks with no communication or status updates unless we called multiple times. Had to pay in full before work was ever done. Every time we called Mike was always at home and the shop was closed during business hours. Weeks later we finally picked up car with the spare keys as it was already closed at 3 . Went up there 4 times to pick up the other keys and no one is ever there even when Mike said they would be. They still have the keys to the car that we now have sold and it’s been months… used to be a really good mechanic years ago.

Welcome to my long-winded review where 1 star is honestly too much. I probably should have read some of these reviews before I called. Now I’m wondering how much these people were paid to leave good reviews. 16 days ago, I called and spoke to the mechanic John about my non-working air conditioner and was told to bring it right in. I was there within minutes and he looked at it right away and told me the expansion valve needed to be replaced and that his boss would call me that day with an estimate so I could bring it in to be repaired the next morning. 2 days go by (guess I wasn’t getting it fixed the next day) and I had to call the owner Mike myself to ask about my estimate to which he replied he was working on it and would call me back. I'm very late posting this but had a very good experience with this establishment. Needed a motor replaced on my Pontiac solstice and they did a great job with an engine swap. Car runs great now. Very friendly and polite staff. Would definitely go back.

Where to start? We had been taken advantage of, lied to and cheated by “German Car Shops”. A friend and fellow customer gave me Fidel’s number. We talked and came to an agreement, and we will be a lifetime customer. I can not begin to tell you the relief it was to find honest people, willing to actually do mechanic work, not just change parts and hope for the best. If you like the truth and a positive buying experience, go to Bob’s Auto! Plan a little extra time when you pick up your car. There is a great looking earring establishment almost directly behind Bob’s. Next time we will know to allow more time.

Do not use this shop! I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars after how Mike has treated my 80 year old mother. The first time her vehicle went there he kept the vehicle there for over a week to replace a temperature gauge. (1 hour job). Then less than a year later, same part failed and now it's three days an still not done. He's left my mother stranded and could care less. He is backyard mechanic that doesn't care about his customers. Shameful and unprofessional.
