Bob's Car Care

I really thought about this before posting but I don’t have a choice. We took our vehicle here for front brakes only. When the front desk receptionist called she said they changed the rear axel and rear brakes. They didn’t call or inform us why or authorize the alleged needs of the vehicle. If they would have called and explained it then we would have had no issues with it. However the vehicle has detailed service records from the dealership and it was never needed. So we were confused. We told them no and they allegedly removed the new Axel and brakes within an hour and the vehicle was ready. This makes zero sense. We originally were quoted 550 then it jumped to 1600. We also got cussed at several times along everything else. We were trying to give to a local business but never again.

The people who run the business are fairly nice. I think the service is good. I can't verify if my fluids were actually changed, I just hope they changed them after waiting for 3 hours. I would also like to think my car sounds slightly better than before. The first time I went for my transmission fluid, I was fairly pleased except, it took the men in the office awhile to acknowledge me and let me pay after they finished my car. A couple of months later I called to ask how much it would cost to change power steering fluid, coolant, and brake fluid and the man on the phone said it would be about $300 for all three of those. My trailer was severely overloaded at a rock quarry, leaving me with a wheel nearly falling off. The tire was severely damaged. I was only a few blocks from Bob’s shop and he came over to see if he could help. He took my wheel down to the shop and put a used tire on the rim, came back with a jack and impact wrench and replaced the wheel for me. It was a huge blessing.

I called Bob's Car Care when my wife developed an issue with her vehicle. I was supporting the Army on a mission and wasn't available. Bob's arranged for a tow from Hunter Towing ( thank you Hunter Towing as well) and was able to repair my wife's vehicle for a great price and do so rapidly and professionally. From the woman who took my first call to the mechanics who fixed everything, it was a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Bob's Car Care. They are great people with superior skills.
