We have been going to Bob’s Friendly in Midland Park for many years. I brought my Honda Pilot for two issues , power steering and a windshield wiper motor. They replaced the power steering rack and the wiper motor ($1500.00 later). The car was driven home less than a mile, and sat in the driveway. The next morning the windshield had a large crack. The windshield repair technician confidently said the repair of the wiper motor caused the crack. Because of the long relationship with Bob’s Friendly we assumed accidents happen and didn’t make a big deal about it. When I got the car home the steering felt loose and sloppy, the original power steering noise was still there. We brought the car back for them to repair the problem,they ended up keeping the SUV for over a month and never looke

Bob's "unfriendly" service. Brought my car in for an oil change and left the keys with one of his mechanics. I went back and told the owner (who was now in) I would wait in the waiting area because I was in no rush and would work on my phone. He said "wait for what?" I replied "my car", and I then asked if it was ok to wait. He rolled his eyes, got into a customer's car, completely ignoring me, and drove off. I decided to get into my car and drive off, and avoid getting my car serviced there. As a business owner myself. Literally, the bare minimum you can do is tell someone, hold on, or that you'll be back. You don't turn your back on a customer and walk off as they're talking. I see there was another person here who said he turned his back and walked off on them too. This must be a habit

I went to get the picture for the inspection insurance, he turned his back away to me told me he didn't have time now, locked himself inside the office so i knocked on the door he came out very disrespectful and asked if I understood what meant that he didn't have time I told him I'm talking with you where are your manners and he repeated I don't have time now good day.. if I didn't respect older people I'd have slap him. Poor service no education a real piece of work..

Saying that they're friendly is not enough. Bob and his staff understood the pedicab I was in, moved a car out of their bay and islets mine on the spot. Their always translated and tell you exactly what needs to be done and how much time it will take....USE BOB'S!

This place is great no BS. Straight forward and honest place. A lot of times auto repair places will try to over sell things or give you extra things you don't need this place is great because they do not do that.
