Bonaventure of Colorado Springs

This review is for the Memory Care. We moved my Dad into the Memory Care at Bonaventure and we couldn't be happier with the staff! The new director, Glaiza is amazing. She is very hands on with the residents and her staff is the most kind caring staff we have seen anywhere. Every time we go to visit Dad he is happy and looks great. Just yesterday when we came they were outside for a walk enjoying the warm sunshine and when they got back they were given water and then boarded the bus for a scenic drive. All the staff are friendly and helpful and really care about the residents. The Memory Care unit is being updated with nice new carpet and paint. Dad's room is always clean and smells great when we come in. He is never left in his room but instead is out in the common area with the

My parents have lived here since April 2019. My mom recently passed away but absolutely loved living here. She loved all the activities provided and loved all the residents. My Dad still resides here. The apartments are very clean and kept up with. I love the staff, especially Lydia and Melissa....there are more but I can't remember all their names. The staff all greet you when they see you. When my mom passed they made special effort to keep an eye on my Dad for a while. My parents both like/liked the food. I don't plan on moving my Dad as he is content there. The only issue we had at first was getting all my mom's meds lined out, but in their defense she was on 16 different one.

Our mom has been here for over two years and the one amazing constant has been Judene Small… Bonaventure is so lucky and blessed to have her as a wonderful Director and caregiver. Best thing I could have done for my mom. The staff has been extremely accommodating to me and my mom, not just in move-in but after she’s situated too. It feels like a family and I trust the medical staff and employees entirely. Best decision I could have made for my mother, forever grateful for everything they’ve done for us. Strongly recommend for others considering independent, assisted or memory care accommodations. Personal story: They protected my mom from being hurt while she was in assisted living since she’d wander off outside. They helped me transfer her into memory care and if it weren’t for their staff, she could have easily injured herself. This facility is not only a home but a place that our loved ones will always remain protected.

Thanks Bonaventure, for taking great care of my folks. I knew we were in the right place from the moment we walked in. The beautiful entry was only complimented by the warm staff and professionals who greeted us. In particular, I want to give a big "shout out" to Lydia who took us on a tour. She had an obvious attention to detail and went above and beyond in helping me get my folks into Bonaventure. Then, once there, she's been so, so helpful in every way. When my father eventually passed, she called me and cried with me. She then comforted and cared for my mom as we moved her to a smaller unit. She even led the staff with physically moving the furniture from one unit to the other. To this day, she and the other staff members don't just check on my mother, they help nurture her in
