Our son was in his first ever automobile accident last month — out of state, no less — and Bowers Garage handled the tow and damage assessment for his vehicle. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this business has been in handling our situation. The owners are courteous, straightforward and professional; prompt to return voicemails; honest in their assessments; and overall thoroughly customer-service oriented. Bought Tires for my Hummer H3. They were mounted, balanced, and installed professionally and quickly. I would definitely recommend it for all automotive needs.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great price I got on tires. Bowers is the only shop around for miles, but does not gouge his customers because of it, like some small town services do. Friendly, knowledgeable service, I bet you can't find the equal in any of the big cities.

These folks showed up in half an hour on a weekend when the nearest AAA tow truck was 2.5 hours wait, minimum. My van had a new wheel bearing by 10 the next morning and the price was better than I could have hoped. Unlike the newest garage up in Petersburg, Bower's left no greasy handprints all over the vehicle and used top quality parts instead of the cheap garbage that had left me stranded two months after replacement. Great folks, expert service, fair prices; a garage like those I remember as a kid, which have all but disappeared in this country.
