Bowman's Auto Repair

My wife and I are excited to have found this local mechanic for our Subaru and Toyota. Had a great experience today/yesterday with both Jesus and Brady. Took my tundra in for a check engine light RE: evap leak. They quoted me to diagnose with smoke test - found the leak quickly in the charcoal filter. Had the parts ordered from Toyota next day and fixed same day. Reasonable pricing, honest feedback and diagnosis. I’ve saved their number to my cell and intend to use them here on out.

I've been using Bowman's for 20+ years and have had great results every time with all my cars thorough the years. Steve and Brady took great care of our Toyota Sienna minivan, on very short notice. You won't find a better and more honest mechanic in Santa Barbara!

I wish I could recommend this local business, but they will try to rip you off and offer services you do not need. They gave an estimate of $600 for a starter replacement, which is *absurdly* over priced. Other mechanics have actually taken the time to have a respectful conversation with me about my car, share their knowledge, and offer reasonably priced services. This was the opposite.

I sort of don't want to write this review because I love Steve and everything at Bowman's for repair so much that I don't want it to get too popular! But, doing a service here, Bowman's is a fantastic auto repair shop. Knowledgeable, confident, fair pricing, and someone you can talk to with Steve. I can't recommend Bowman's auto repair enough!

Honest, clean, knowledgeable and quick. I don’t know what more you can ask for. I’ve spent years looking for a mechanic that was even 2/4 so I can’t say I’ll be taking our cars anywhere else anytime soon.
