My wife Sue and I have lived at Brittany Pointe Estates for over five and a half years, and we couldn’t be happier. This is a truly special community—filled with caring staff, wonderful neighbors, and a genuine sense of connection. We were already familiar with Acts Retirement-Life Communities from my parents’ 18 years at Indian River West in Florida. We experienced every level of care—independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing—and were consistently impressed by the compassion and professionalism. My mother spent her final four years in skilled care at Brittany Pointe, where she truly received the “loving-kindness” that Acts is known for. Living at Brittany Pointe has exceeded all my expectations and hopes. Moving more than 800 miles to an area I did not know and I didn’t know anyone. We were so warmly welcomed and folded into the exciting life here.  The care my husband received in Willow Brooke Court , the medical unit, when he got terminally sick and eventually passed was extraordinary. The support I have received from staff and residents has been so comforting and caring. My new life is full of activities, travel,both one day and even overseas, concerts, plays, restaurants, museums, and so many new experiences.  The staff is so professional, fun and caring.  The residents are the best.  My kids are so grateful that we chose Brittany and the life we have here, and so am I.

What a great life, living at Brittany Pointe Estates for 11 years! So happy that we chose to move here while we are still able to enjoy all that the community offers. My wife and I have been residents at Brittany Pointe for the past six years. Our decision to move to the community is one of the best we have made. The welcoming and active culture of this community has contributed to our enjoyable lifestyle. Negatives are too few to mention. The management staff have been responsible to our requests. From water aerobics to bridge groups, steel drum band to the yearly bazaar, are just a few of available activities. The medical and therapy available are top notch. Brittany Pointe is a wonderful place to call home.

After an extensive search for a retirement community, we chose Brittany Pointe Estates. We liked its pleasant staff and friendly residents, wider hallways, and ‘bump-out’ living rooms, which let in lots of light. While spending two nights in the guest apartment, we participated in activities and shared meals with residents. We wanted a CCRC because it includes different levels of care: independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing, all under one roof. We knew that Acts’ not-for-profit feature meant that management would put residents first.
