Brothers Auto Sales

We purchased a car from Brothers Auto Sales and gave them $2500 out of $3000 for a deposit, with the remainder contingent on them repairing the back door that wouldn't open. They gave us the car, despite not receiving the full deposit, although the rest of the price was guaranteed through financing. The car broke down within 24 hours. We contacted them about the possibility of either canceling the loan (we were told we could) or exchanging the car for another (yes we could), but were told we would have to wait until the owner returned from overseas in a week because no one else could handle the issue and his wife - also an owner - does not speak English very well. They took it, repaired it and said it was ready, however, would not give it to me until they received the remaining $500. I

Currently DMV has authorized them to do Registration/Title paperwork due to the pandemic situation (when bought private party). DMV website specifically says the dealers are not allowed to charge more than $25 processing fee. These guys wanted $100 and wouldn't do the registration unless we paid that amount on top of all the DMV fees. DMV says to notify them if any of the authorized dealers are trying to charge more than the allowed fee of $25. I agree that a lot of businesses are struggling right now, but breaking a binding agreement with DMV to profit from the pandemic situation is not the way to do it.

bad place to buy your car. I bought a car to drive in 6 months at 2,000 miles, the engine stopped. the dealer who sold me the car does not want to pay for the fix or exchange.

The service team at brothers helped me with a mechanical issue with my vehicle. They took their time and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right and that my car left in a better condition than when it arrived.

Horrible awful place. Because I wasn’t Spanish decent I was treated as if I didn’t matter. Rude, disrespectful and just downright mean people. I went there because I was looking for a very very inexpensive 2nd vehicle and knew their cars had a lot higher miles than most dealerships so I thought I could find something decent, but after the way I was treated and the prices I saw there was nothing worth my time there.
