Brown's Transmission & Full Service Auto Repair

In October, my husband had a massive heart attack and is still at OSU as of today, 12/17. I've been driving his Yukon, as my in-laws cannot get in my lifted Wrangler. I noticed a shutter feeling night before last. Yesterday, I stopped into Brown's and explained the problem. They got me in next-day and resolved the issue! I cannot thank them enough for working me in and getting me back on the road! <3 I will recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I took my Honda Pilot here for a second opinion after John Hinder Honda diagnosed my transmission to be needing replaced. Browns discovered external transmission electrical connectors to be the failure that did "NOT" require a transmission replacement. This cost was a couple hundred. Hinder wanted to charged me 3,000 plus to rectify this issue with a new trans. Shame on Hinder Honda for attempting to take advantage of this situation. Bring your car to Browns for service unless its under warranty from the Stealership.

I've always had a good experience with Browns! Been going here for well over a decade and I've never had an issue with their work quality or customer service. They generally go above and beyond what they really need to, especially for quick things like oil changes. Not the cheapest place in town I imagine but you get what you pay for here.

Amazing! We are from Michigan and got into a pinch trying to leave Legend Valley for a show. On a recommendation we had our truck towed there. Thankfully the part was in stock and they were able to get us squared away quickly. We are so thankful for you guys, thank you so much for the quick turn around. We are so happy to be home :)

All my repairs in the last 5 years have been at Browns Transmission on my vehicles. I had a complete transmission rebuild on my wife's 2016 Buick LaCrosse In 2020. After the rebuild only the in-laws drove the vehicle back and forth to doctors and grocery. The transmission went out in fall of 2024. Yes the transmission was out of warranty to Browns but it only had 19,000 miles on the transmission. No compromise only option was to give them another $6k to rebuild it again. Terrible job!. Will never go back.
