Budget Car Rental

Absolutely under no circumstances should you rent with this office. It’ll be easier and hassle free to uber to another car rental place. They’re privately owned so they don’t *really* follow the budget corp. I rented a car 10/25-28th… yep it’s December as I’m writing this… first thing they did was not let me know I would owe a $403 deposit to pick up the car on top of the $2xx something I paid to place the reservation. They wouldn’t take my insurance so another $100 on top of that. Front desk lady said I would get this deposit back (still haven’t received it) they only had one car available. Multiple people picking up, mind you. We didn’t have much of a choice! We had plans later. We agreed. It was a 2026 ram truck. I’m 5’2. I am sorry budget, but next rental will be going to Enterprise. I rented a car from Budget for one day. I had a reservation with another company. I had canceled because I thought the deposit was to high, which was $300. So I called around to see if there were other options. When I called budget, and first I ask what their deposit was and he told me it was $200. I made the reservation with budget, because the deposit was lower. What he actually told me, that if I had paid over the phone the deposit would be $250.00, but if I paid in person ot would be $200.00. When I get to the counter the next day, (1-21-2016) the person at the counter quoted an extra $100, so a $300.00 deposit! . I mentioned it to the person at the counter and she said that us what all Atlanta rental companies char

Zero star if I could. They told me the car was a 2025 and I was happy because I would be using CarPlay and other features to use Google Maps as I was going on a long roadtrip. Only to find out, all they did was put a 2025 car manual in the Car but the actual year of the car was an older version. Had to go buy car mounts for safety, and other things that I was hoping to get with the car since they said it was a 2025. Very disappointed and I won’t be going renting with Budget again. Called to see if I could swap cars but all they said was they couldn’t and if I meeded to swap it would be an additional $80 total. Which is ridiculous. Anyways, I do not recommend.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!! I rented a car for 2 days rated at 90$ and ended up with 3 months of disputing a 1200$ bill. They tried to steal my deposit, refuse my credit card: so I had to use a debit card (harder to dispute), and added random fees without an explanation. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I filled the tank, turned it in early, and even cleaned it. No cleaning fees and the guy at check in said it was perfect. They just kept my deposit and charged me extra days, fees, and late fees.

Zero star. Never rent with budget again! Returning a vehicle to them and got ensured by the staff on site that there is no extra charge at the point of return. One week later, we get a bill of cleaning fee for animal hair in the car but we don’t have any pet at all! Disputing a few times but they deny without any common sense. It is the worst management and client service to charge client for something that not existing. We don’t even have a pet due to allergies reason. Worse rental experience ever!
