Budget Car Rental

I reserved a SUV. I called ahead to see what car was available for me. The guy said a Mazda. I asked what kind of gas mileage it got, and the guy said "um you mean like gallons per mile? I think like 21 gpm." I was surprised that someone working in the rental car industry didn't know something as simple as miles per gallon. When I got there I saw a bunch of SUVs in the same class that I reserved. I asked the rep if there were any choices and he said only the Mazda cx50 parked out front. I asked about the other SUVs parked next to it (one was a Chevy Blazer). He said that would cost $1200 because it's not the car I reserved. I saw many other options in the back lot, but I got the feeling he was set on me in the Mazda so I took it. The Mazda was covered in dead bugs, and caked in pet

Very fast! Was able to reserve car and take care of paperwork online, basically went in a got the keys and the car.

Well we had a 12 passenger van reserved for 7 months for a pick up at noon. We showed up at 12:07, our rental is sitting there (see picture) but they were closed.... at noon. What the heck! Why would they schedule a pick up for the time they closed? Why wouldn't this location just call us and ask to pick up at 11am? Why wouldnt this location can us at noon as they were walking out to see how close we were? So many options but they chose to do nothing. And now we are scheduled to go on a 10 day family trip to Yellowstone and don't have a vehicle!! Seriously this location sucks. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!

This budget location here in Blaine is the absolute worst location to rent a vehicle I rented a vehicle on Friday the 18th to the 19th a little Toyota Corolla was told the price was going to be $99.81 upon renting the vehicle it was a total pigsty it smelled like McDonald's with food stains on the seat the gas tank was at 3/4 of a tank not full like my receipt showed. I called immediately on both of these issues to make sure that they were aware of this on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. I called to say I was going to be a little bit late and again complained about the condition of the vehicle and the gas issue I was told you will not be charged for an extra day and we are sorry for the inconvenience not only did they charge me for an extra day they charge me $274.35 for a 1-day rental on a

1 star - Because I can not do less. Awful customer service. Our car was dirty. There was no pre-inspection by ourselves or Budget. There were water bottles under the seats and 'stuff' in the door handles. We booked our car on the website were the price was $120/day = $480 for 4 days (BEFORE taxes & fees). When we were given our receipt the price (BEFORE T & F) was $150/day = $600. I checked my credit card statement and I have a pending charge for $800+ . Almost $1000 for a 4 day rental. When we returned the car, we tried to talk to a worker. We were pushed away and told to just leave the keys. After insisting on talking to someone, a worker appeared clueless about our complaint and kept repeating 'but there are taxes & fees' completely not understanding that our issue was BEFORE taxes and
