Budget Car Rental

Warning! These people will rip you off! First of all it’s filthy inside of the office. Then they place a $250 hold on your credit card in case they have to clean the rental car. Keep in mind they will charge you up to $450 for cleaning the car after you drop it off. Ironic when the car I rented was dirty to start with. There was gum in the center console. Half eaten lollipops, empty water bottles and windows you could barely see out of. They didn’t even have the car I rented and then charged me $60 more for a larger vehicle. What can you do at 4:30pm on a Friday and you are going away the next day. Nice beat switch on their part to steal more money from you. After dropping off the car I kept getting charged on my credit card for tolls. Over $435 worth. No way that’s possible for the couple

Very professional and courteous service. I always rent from this location as my previous experiences at the BWI airport have been horrible. This location is very efficient and provides good quality vehicles. I have rented from this location 10+ times per year over the past few years and never had an issue.

Rating: Zero stars! Do NOT make reservations to rent cars at the Catonsville location! We had a "terrible" experience today! We were obtaining a 1 week rental while our car is being serviced. After reading the many horrible reviews, we still took a chance (2.8 rating). -Customer Service was absolutely disgusting! -Manager and rep were rude, unprofessional and did Not attempt to resolve problems they created. -Rental process was not user friendly for customers (credit card/debit card) -With a prepayment, the process should have been simple?? -No apologies were provided after the extreme and expensive inconvenience (4 Uber rides, 4 trips in the cold & snow). If I could leave zero stars I would. I took an Uber there this morning to rent a car... was NOT told I needed a credit card or my credit would be run for rental. I took an Uber home. I got my card and took an Uber back but was told I couldn't use the card because my name wasn't on it. Same name, same house, same account. Their reason wasn't because they couldn't process it, but that they didn't want to. I am taking a 4th Uber back home. Even though I saw the negative reviews, I still gave them a shot... Never again!!! Save yourself the headache...

Good Day, I went to the location and Mr. Dan had me in a vehicle within 15 minutes. If I may also mention, I am very sensitive to odors and Ive never had a problem with a vehicle smelling of smoke or the like. Thank you Mr. Dan and the Budget staff. Your professionalism and mannerisms have always given us a great experience. A. Robinson
