Budget Car Rental

I arrived at 7 AM on Friday to pick up the car, the process was quick and easy — I was out of there and in the car within 10 min of arriving!! Drop-off was a breeze as well, pulled up at 245 PM on Sunday and was greeted right away to process the return. Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and efficient !!!!!

Truly an unforgettable experience, which i want to forget … for all the wrong reasons. Showed up at 8 AM, but the staff? Nowhere to be found. One guy who does not have the keys casually sent me to another branch like it was a fun little scavenger hunt. I got there, only to be told someone else had gone to release the car at the original location. So guess what? I got a bonus morning walk back. Thanks for the workout, I guess. When I finally returned, not a single apology, just a warm welcome of pure attitude. And the car I booked and paid for? Of course it wasn’t there. Instead, I was handed a smaller vehicle and told to go hunt for my reserved class at other branches. Absolutely the worst ever customer service. Do yourself a favor and rent literally anywhere else.

Poor service - made to wait for 45++ mins to get the car. I got an old large SUV against a luxury car because they didn't have what I booked weeks back!! The car's steering was vibrating @55/55 miles! I didn't check fuel when I took, noticed that the tank wasn't full a few miles post pick up.

Did not have the van that I booked for a Sunday morning. Apparently did not have any cars at all until someone returned with one. The agent said she could not call her manager, couldn't call other branches and couldn't call customer service. I called Budget customer service myself, who found me another van at LGA, but I lost four hours and incurred several additional costs going out to LGA and having to drive back to Manhattan before starting the journey I wanted to go on. Overall a miserable experience.

I had great experience with Budget, rented I suv VW tiguan in great condition. I picked it up from the Circle Parking Garage, 331 W 58th St Columbus. My recommendation is to pick up car first thing in the morning as I did at 8am so you avoid possibility that they don’t have a car when you get there. Drop off at airport was super easy as well. Renting at location was super easy and Mr. Naz was helpful.
