Budget Car Rental

I had an awesome experience at AVISand Budget Fayetteville Airport. Received the best customer service from Dilia and Sade. Will definitely be renting here again. I recommend that both receive compensation for their exceptional hospitality and customer service.

If I could leave 0/0, I would. I had my reservation for weeks before arriving earlier today. Got to the stand to pick up the rental at 1pm… waited for 5 1/2 hours until I finally got the car. And there were easily 20+ more people still waiting after that. No sense of urgency from the staff at all, and no explanations provided other than just “cleaning” the vehicles. If I have a reservation, I expect it to be RESERVED and ready at that time, that’s just common sense. Do better.

-5 stars. Reserved a midsize car for a 2-hour, one-way rental to catch a flight at RDU. When I arrived, I was told no cars were available—only an F-150 or an EV. I chose the EV. I was told to return it fully charged, but not told it only had 30% charge when handed to me—not even enough to reach the next Budget location. After driving off, I had to call customer service and was told to charge it and upload receipts. What they didn’t mention: charging took 1 hour and 20 minutes. I nearly missed my flight. Basic expectations—a clean, working, fully fueled vehicle—were not met. This isn’t the first time this location has failed; the same issues happened when I rented here in 2020. Extremely disappointed.

Awful experience. Waited 2hrs. 40 minutes for a reservation scheduled for 0900 at the Fayetteville Regional Airport. We left the counter at 12:50pm. We weren't the only ones who had this happened to. Not once, did the counter person apologized for the inconvenience or showed any kind on sympathy for such a long wait.

I have rented from the location in the airport many times and had good experiences and no complaints until this time. The car was fine except no spare tire. The cost of the actual rental was reasonable. The BULLSHIT fees tacked on this time were ridiculous! Almost $100 in made up charges that are just designed to price gouge. They were not charged previously, I have rented from this company for the last 8 years. New fees are: 11.11% concession recovery fee 28.23 Airport facility charge 32.00 Vehicle license recoup 6.24 3% surcharge (for what air???) 9.43 Total bullshit = 75.90 When I checked the vehicle back in the woman at the register could not help me because she "was waiting for someone to
