Budget Car Rental

I take it my review was somehow deleted. They take your money, charge you when they said they didn't and then don't release the refund. I call and get hung up on. Then they stop answering, I just want my $100 deposit back. They charged me 23.30 when I returned on a full tank. Told me because the car was full and extremely clean (her words) I would not be charged for a late return. But I was charged and not even returned the difference from my deposit, I guess she did that because of unprofessionalism and lack of work ethic of seperating work from personal emotions. Budget should find people with integrity, honesty and trustworthiness to work for them. 4DO NOT PATRONIZE

I would NOT recommend this Budget location for doing business with, I would say that the staff needs a polishing on professionalism, and understanding the first thing about customer service is NOT TO TAKE IT PERSONAL AND BECOME COMBATIVE, Hey we all are human and make mistakes as I did by calling in defense mode, however, the first response I got triggered the articulated defense mode. This location is avis and budget rental. I rented through avis not that it matters because the same people work there. I was not satisfied with my rental at all. First off I was an hour late picking it up and after getting the paperwork done I still had to wait because the attendant had to go put air in the tires. When I got in the rental it smelled like someone had sprayed something to get rid of a cigarette smell. Im very sensitive to smells and this was not just an air freshener. I got home and there is a huge side swipe of paint down the side of the van were someone clearly got into an accident. I have rented plenty of cars and I have never seen rental cars with tell tell signs of accidents. The dash was dusty and crumbs were on the dash clearly not wiped. Avis prided itself on the web

What a joke. Reserved a 16 ft truck 2 weeks ago and got there today with them not having one available. Their alternate solution was to pick up one 30 miles away. Budget is an absolute mess of a company - other than being 20% less expensive you are getting 100% more headache.
