Budget Car Rental

Renting a car at this location is always a pleasant experience. It's the only location where i know I'll have the car i reserved waiting for me. Danny is always very helpful. They are also right off the Palmetto-826 expressway exit, which is super convenient, and they don't make you wait to get your car. I'll continue renting cars in this location for sure.

Reserved a truck through Costco with Budget for a scheduled move. Day of move: no truck, no call, no warning. We were told Budget “hasn’t had trucks for weeks” and to “try U-Haul.” If that’s true, they knowingly take reservations they can’t fulfill. Movers still had to be paid, our move was disrupted, and management was dismissive, and said to call customer service because he “didn’t care.” This is gross misrepresentation and total incompetence. Costco should seriously reconsider partnering with Budget for truck rentals. Unacceptable. Trash!

I got there and they didn’t have the car i needed. I got there at 9am and the only car available was a mini van when all i needed was a small car for 1 person. Then i returned the car with a full tank of gas. And they have the audacity to charge me 133$ for fuel.

Wonderful customer service! Great experience with the guy who works there. (His name was Novel. Cuban guy. Super nice.) Poor guy was having to navigate some customers right before me who clearly wanted everything discounted for no reason. He was professional. Friendly. I was late returning a vehicle by a few minutes and he was very accommodating. And then he went out of his way to drive my mother and I back home a few blocks away. Again, excellent customer service. Note: the pick up/drop off area for the car is behind Sears, parallel to the canal. And the car rental desk is INSIDE Sears near the merchandise pick up area.

I have been using this Budget car rental location for years. They are fast, friendly and great customer service. Location is convenient. Keep going back.
