Budget Car Rental

This is possibly one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with any business. I made a reservation, filled out the precheck, gave them my card. Did everything that I was told to. I had a late flight, landed around 11:15 pm. Showed up to the desk and nobody was there. Asked the nearby airport workers and they couldn't find the rental agent either. I waited until around 11:50 and made a panic reservation with another agency at a horrendous upcharge to avoid getting stranded since I didnt have anywhere to stay nearby. Called budget the next day, they said there was nothing they could do and apologized for the situation. This was bad enough but they then somehow had the audacity to charge me a 50 dollar no-show fee. Just stay away, this put a lot of stress into an otherwise wonde

As you’ll see over and over in these reviews, this location is completely unable to reliably check your car in. You can put your keys in a staff member’s hand and the records won’t indicate it was turned in until days later after fees and penalties have been applied. Getting those fees removed (or getting any answers at all) is made extremely difficult by the fact that it’s impossible to speak to a local staff member. All phone options route you to a national Budget call center, which has no real information about the car or location. This has now happened to us twice and is clearly a pattern with this location. The first time it happened they refused to refund the extra day charge, so it's not just a harmless annoyance. Advice: Take lots of photos of your car and odometer at both check

If I could give 0 stars I would but Im being forced to give 1. I made a reservation, you took my money, and then gave my car away to someone else because I didn't arrive at exactly noon. You didn't call to see if I was still coming, you just gave the car to someone else even though you took money for it. Now, you cant guarantee a car today or tomorrow and Im trying to go to a funeral. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. IF YOU TAKE MY MONEY THE CAR IS MINE. DO NOT USE BUDGET.

Getting the car took longer than my flight. The car I received was not the one I booked. Instead I received a high clearance sports truck that was too high for my wife’s grandma to get in. I will not use budget again and if you’re flying into Huntsville Alabama avoid this company at all costs.

Be totally warned if you rent from this location. I dont know if they perform zero training or what kind of CF they have going on there. I rented from there and the older lady at the counter was friendlyish. I took pictures of all the scratches and the vehicle was "almost" full and was missing the radio antenna. LOL. No big deal. Upon return is where the real problem happened. I took pictures of everything again and took my keys to the gentleman in the budget office out in the parking garage. He scanned the keys and said I was "good to go". Called customer service that night stating I had not received an receipt. Was told that it could take up to 14 hours. 36 hours, I still do not have a receipt. Talked to 3 different people at their customer service call center in another country. They w
