Budget Car Rental

One of the smoothest and fastest rental car experiences I’ve had so far from picking up to dropping off. I highly recommend.

Need to pull a soft credit check,which I wasn't happy about but staff are helpful, long lines

I love renting from this location, it is very close to my house making it convenient and you are always greeted with a smile by the two gentleman working there. I have always gotten great deals compared to other car companies. The cars you receive are always clean and in excellent shape and before you leave the lot, you are given instructions on where things are located in the car. the downside for me, is that there is no dropping off during off hours and the aesthetics of the place could be better, but when you have excellent service, those things can be overlooked. Booked online for 1pm. Turned up through the snow and 25f calling all the time to make sure they were open. No answer and voicemail full. Got there and no-one to be seen. Spoke for over an hour with customer service who would only rebook me at Newark for 3 times the price. We were let down badly in the middle of nowhere with bags. Had to Uber to Newark and book on Priceline for same price with National. Budget don't give a damn. We've been traveling for 18 months globally hiring cars monthly. Never this bad.

Customer service was terrible. Assistant manager, Angel, was rude, at best. When we inquired about polices his response was either, “I don’t make the rules” or an ultimatum. He eventually put his hand up in our faces in attempts to silence us. When discussing cars, he was argumentative. When we inquired with another representative, he belittled the employee stating, “he’s only a part-timer.” However that part timer has more grace and customer service etiquette than the assistant manager. To boot, the waiting area and counter reeked of cigarettes. Atrocious environment and customer service.
