Budget Car Rental

If you want to make a reservation on Expedia the night before, show up to get the car you reserved, be told your name is not on the list, then be told to read the sign saying no cars are available, hang out to see a person return a key, someone else with a res come to pick up a car, and then have the person at the desk make a call to maybe the franchisee owner and disappear to the back room for 15 minutes because she doesn't know how to turn the car around, leave in frustration with no car, and THEN have Budget CHARGE YOU 50 dollars for not having cancelled your reservation within 24 hours, by all means, rent a car from Budget through Expedia at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. Never again.

This is stupid. How is a company gonna allow you to book a car and your company doesn’t have any????? AI is replacing jobs. Not good. Inconvenience is not the word I would use. Misleading and down right shameful to call yourself a business and can’t deliver on a product. Unacceptable

Avoid this company — they are unreliable, incompetent, and will ruin your plans. I booked a large SUV weeks in advance for a college move with a drop-off in Orlando and even confirmed the day before. Hours before pickup, they told me they had nothing and offered two smaller cars — useless when I have one driver. They made me call another branch myself, which had a car but only if I returned it to Atlanta, despite my flight out of Orlando to my home 5,000 miles away from the mainland. Zero accountability, zero effort to fix their mistake, and a complete disregard for customers. I spent hours on the phone calling over 20 times all over because they are unable to transfer my calls. Everyone I dealt with was useless, and I will never, ever do business here or with Budget Car Rentals again.

It's really sad that when your father becomes forgetful and sometimes doesn't know what day it is much less the day. This company should be ashamed that one is 77 year old man makes mistake on a car rental reservation and in order to complete the reservation you must put in credit card information. In doing so it then shows up as a prepaid transaction. With a prepaid transaction there is no refund. My father lost $643.24 in which was never refunded to him. This company takes advantage of the elderly as well as anyone else that makes a mistake on their website making a reservation. I will not ever refer anyone to Budget / Avis rental car. Might I know the website says that they have a full size pickup truck. However the location in Warner robins does not carry ever full size pickup truck. S

The agent at the Macon Apt office was excellent. However, many aspect of the rental (additional insurance, unlimited miles, additional driver) was not included at the office level. The system should allow the local agents the ability to identify additional items that were part of the online process.
