Budget Car Rental

Called and asked for the price if we were to extend our rental for one extra day. They told us one answer. The next day we were charged $250 and there was nothing we could do about it.

I had a 6:45 pm pickup for a Budget car rental and arrived at 6:40 pm to pickup. Rental agent Tamilya Thomas informed me that she takes her last contract at 6:30 pm even though Budget car rental closes at 7:00 pm. Tamilya Thomas is very rude and does things her own way. It is amazing that these huge corporations hire people like Tamilya Thomas. On a previous visit here, she ran a credit check on me even though I had a major credit card. I am puzzled by her behavior.

Cannot recommend Fastbreak and curbside service enough. Shuttle dropped us off at the car and when we returned it and employee drive us in our rental to our airline check-in counter at the airport. Car was clean. Drive great.

Be sure to either read your rental car agreement in full detail or have the front desk let you know of any odd rules and policies budget has. I rented a car from the Montgomery airport and drove it less than 74 miles for the time I had it. They apparently have a rule that if it's driven less than 74 miles that you will be charged 13.99 plus tax. I think that is a very dishonest policy to have. I will make every effort to avoid budget in the future.

Rented a vehicle from Nashville airport to go to Orange Beach for spring break, first vehicle pieces of the vehicle started dragging on the highway 😳 Switched vehicles in Montgomery AL, the vehicle they gave us smelled like an ashtray, went back to switch letting them know our daughter is allergic to cigarette smoke, they stated that was all they had- at least 20 more vehicles in the parking lot. Called customer service for Budget and they told me “you can get it cleaned and we can get your money back” We are on vacation, we also need to now wash all of our clothes before even starting to relax 😳 DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET
