Budget Car Rental

What an epic disaster. We needed a Large SUV for a work trip with a very tight deadline. We made a reservation. They told us to be here at 8AM after getting here they tell me they don't have the SUV. Then they try to offer me a much smaller SUV. SERIOUSLY!!!! I need the full size SUV to carry the tools and equipment with me. So now they tell me it will be an hour wait. DO BETTER!!!!!!

Absolutely Horrific Experience ** DO NOT RENT FROM THEM ** Arrived at 12:30 in the morning with a reservation. Budget did not have our vehicle or a comparable vehicle to give us. Agent and manager "Wade" didn't care in the least. Told me I could uber or take a smaller full-electric vehicle although I have a large family. Told me I couldn't call in to see if they had another vehicle because they didn't have any outside lines. The worst experience I've ever had. No empathy and now conern. ** DO NOT RENT FROM THEM **

WORST rental car company EVER!!!!! DO NOT RENT from them!! We rented from budget in the past and had issues but we’re hopeful that was an isolated instance and with their competitive pricing we wanted to try them again. That was HUGE mistake!!! We reserved a full size vehicle several months before our reservation, once we arrived to pick it up we were told they did not have one and could only offer us an economy size vehicle that would have been absolutely impossible for our party to fit in. They told us to call around to see if any locations near us had one or go on a wait list and one might be available the next day. After spending over an hour on the phone, they found a vehicle for us only to tell us it would be over $1,000 for TWO days to rent it!! Are you kidding me?!?! You reserve ca

Don't rent a car from them unless their improve their fleet and customer service! We reserved a TOYOTA RAV4 for a week, equipped with adaptive cruise control, but they delivered a Ford Escape with no adaptive cruise control. The car window glasses were dirty, washer fluid was empty, in the middle of the trip the oil change alarm turned on. After returning the car in the afternoon on 9/6/25, the lady on the Budget desk couldn't be more careless about our experience and simply said call the customer service!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. As a lifelong enterprise rental user this is my first and last experience ever using Budget. We planned a weekend vacation to Nashville and planned to travel and see a lot of various different things. They only had and gave us an electric vehicle. Only car they had. We immediately called the next day to get a gas vehicle and they opened a case because there were none at all that could be found until we left Monday. There were no chargers at the hotel and the other chargers that we found at a car dealer and the electric company would take 6 hours to charge the vehicle. Who goes on vacation to plan out spending 6 hours charging your vehicle. And if you are highway driving, you’re not making it far. First and last Budget experience
