Budget Car Rental

Just shut the whole place down terrible staff and customer skills the the guy at the counter that helped me was rude and dismissive to any questions i had horrible experience did not rent because of terrible attitude they don’t ever have a car when you rent rather pre pay or not any way go Somewhere else if you want a car for sure ! And this you all would be the rude guy corporate will be receiving an email for sure

I don't know what it is about this location at the JAN airport, but I always have a problem. I normally rent from Avis/budget, and visit kinda often. I probably will not rent from them again. This last time was the last straw. I reserved a car from Budget with a promotional email saying free upgrade when booking, back in March for my April trip. They took the money when I processed it. When I got to the counter at the airport, they wanted to hold another $300 on my credit card, in addition to the full price of the rental that was already paid for in March of $336 for a 5 day trip. Also, when asked about the free upgrade, the person informed me they didn't have any eligible upgrades at the moment, and when the promotions are sent, they don't know what they have in inventory. Unbelievably bad rental location for Budget and Avis. They have no accomodation for FastBreak. On my last rental, person with car in garage wandered off in middle of her shift, taking a rental to go get food. My FastBreak rental took more than an hour in this tiny airport, and we ultimately got the vehicle used by the attendant, which still reeked of the food.

I’ve called all day and can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I need answers to my questions. I keep getting forwarded to headquarters/general customer service who also can’t answer my questions, and they tell me I need to call the Jackson location until they answer. I have two case files open for my issues with Budget: 72175496 12799 I not only had issues when picking up my car (it wasn't ready because the person working there thought my 12pm reservation meant midnight and I had to wait for it to be cleaned) returning the car and dealing with unhelpful customer service has been a nightmare. My reservation number is 20428359USO and I rented a truck from the Jackson, MS airport location. I originally had a reservation for 3/24/2025-4/30/2025. My return flight was moved up to Friday, 4/2

The people were helpful...But I had to wait two and a half hours for any car to be available even with a reservation. I blame their corporation.
