Budget Car Rental

Incredibly disappointed and pissed off at this location. I rented a truck and a Auto transport (which mind you the transport wasn't needed) I drove to my unit which was about 10 to 15 minute drive from this location. I got there and the check engine light came on and it told me low oil engine pressure. I call Budget they tell me to either get roadside assistance or take it back to the location. I took it back to the location. The manager talk me there's nothing wrong with it they just didn't oil change cleared it and sent me on my way. It wasn't clean when I picked it up either. Fine whatever see how it goes. It didn't. I had to rent a car because my van went into the shop. I went to Budget car rental who is combined with Avis car rental. The specific place I went to was on North Davis Highway in Pensacola, FL. My initial experience with this rental place was when I called them, I asked them if they had a mini-van available and they told me they did not have any minivans available. I then asked them what they had that would accommodate a family of 5 with 3 children’s seats. The guy said they had a GMC Yukon. I said that it was fine and asked what the cost was. He told me $420. I didn’t think that the cost was bad for a week and then he advised that it was per day. I thought this was astronomical and asked if there was anything else they could do that was reasonable. Booked a day ahead with budget online at 9am. Came in for my reservation today to be told that reservations after 12 wasn’t suppose to go through. I assured them i booked before 12 & they just continue with the next customer after saying there’s no reservation. Didn’t check my reservation number or nothing. Told me there was no trucks as I’m looking at 1 singular box truck in the lot look as if it’s ready for a pickup. While I’m being told there’s no truck. The lady who was supposed to handle my budget truck rental quickly told me there was no reservation and played with her kids who she brought to work. As i left she was chilling vaping & playing with her kids she brought to work. Would’ve appreciated them to at least look into the situation rather than ignore me.

very disappointed with this budget location. we reserved a truck so they "upgraded" us to a Chevy Tahoe. it was extremely dirty and definitely wasn't washed before pickup. during pick up the staff was ok, but during drop off they weren't very friendly or helpful. I opted to wait for a receipt because I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be charged extra for any made up damage. I had to wait a long time for someone to go over the vehicle and couldn't get an answer from the guy at the desk for how long, as I had an Uber on the way. the gentleman that went over the vehicle literally just started it up to check the gas and called it a day. definitely not a great car rental experience.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I got there at 8:30 on a Sunday morning and they didn’t have any car I had reserved. The worst part was the stinky attitude the short haired girl had at the front desk. She was horrible finally a white Sante Fe pulled up it was filthy dirty but I needed a SUV ASAP because my daughter is in a wheelchair chair. She didn’t want to give me that car but I said I would clean it myself. My wife had the car for 4 days only just to follow the 2 coach buses we had ONLY AROUND PENSACOLA and nowhere else. She was just there to pick up food and run around for us. I calculated maybe 400 miles they said I did 1966. Impossible, the car needed an oil change as well. My wife topped the car off on Tuesday night which was half full, we drove to the base about 15 miles from our
