Budget Car Rental

As I can see by your reviews I’m not the only unhappy customer. Went in, got a car. Pulled out of the parking lot, got to my first destination and seen it had a huge hole and crack in the windshield. Was told to bring it back. Went back, I was given another car that has scraps, the loudest sound coming from the rear and a rip in the tire. I was told to talk to their roadside where I’ll be charged for them to fix their ripped tire. Beware!! Do not rent from here. Cars are in bad shape. To add on to this, I’ve emailed them and they gave me $3.20 credit then when I dropped the car off, I went to drop the key in the drop box and the shuttle person said not to put it in there. If I could give negative stars, I would happily warn everyone and anyone - STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL COMPANY AT PHL!! National car rentals had no vehicles, so I looked at my American Airlines receipt and saw they partnered with Budget, so I reserved a Ford Expedition. When I showed up, the woman behind the counter obviously HATED her job, had no energy and could have cared less about me as a customer. When she mumbled that they only had minivans, I said I reserved a Ford Expedition. She said because I used a third party, all they had were minivans. I had to keep asking her to repeat because she spoke so quietly. Shen then mumbled, “You want a pick-up truck?” And I said yes. Have used Budget at Philly Airport multiple times with no issues but this last time will be my last. Horrible customer service from the counter associate and the branch manager. First waited for the shuttle bus at the airport for 45 min while all other rental car companies bus showed up multiple times. Called customer service but got nowhere. Finally when the bus showed up the driver mentioned I could have taken Avis bus. How I was supposed to know that! Second, the associate behind the counter was extremely rude, disrespectful, and hated her job. She was on her phone the entire time and it was confusing whether she was talking to me or to the phone. Arrived early for a prepaid Budget airport rental due to flight arriving ahead of schedule. Asked if pickup and return could both be shifted one hour earlier (no change in rental length or location). Was told I’d need to call Budget, so I did, and then I was quoted over the phone $100 in change fees plus an additional $75 just to pick up one hour early, with no clear explanation. I chose to wait until the original pickup time to avoid the charges. I'm sitting in an empty lobby (no other customers) with 4 counter agents, wasting an hour. I understand prepaid rules, but this felt unnecessarily rigid and not customer-friendly for a minor timing issue.
