Budget Car Rental

So frustrating and disappointing. Wasted hours trying to get the truck on moving day while these people jerked me around. I showed up with my reservation and a truck was sitting in the lot. Was told that was for someone else’s reservation- I guess mine was just meaningless?? The man at the desk said “that’s how budget rolls, they want you to find another company” when I asked him to call someone to see what could be done he asked me to leave! When I sat down in the lobby to call customer service he called the police!!! I was really shocked at how bad this experience was. No one has ever called the police on me and I was just trying to resolve the situation on my cell phone. I still don’t understand it. WORST RENTAL CAR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! So many negative reviews, it is not worth going to - pay extra and save yourself money in the long run. The unimaginable customer service easily cost me $500 extra between Ubers, schedule changes, and the extra car rental cost because I had to end up using a completely different car rental company at the end of this nightmare experience - never again. I had made a reservation online for an electric hatchback at 9am and called at 10am to let the desk associate know I was running late. She informed that my car was given away because I was "one hour late and "the new car was in the shop getting an oil change," and wouldn't be ready until 2pm. We had an issue with our car that we rented at Miami Airport. It was dirty and full of dog hair. My husband is highly allergic to pets hair. The manager was so friendly and helpful, she exchanged our car right away. This really made our day. Thank you so very much

Where do I start.Budget/Avis make reservations for cars and trucks they don't have on site.thats fraud.Upon arriving to pick up my reserved dodge pickup truck at pompano budget I was told we have no trucks.the counter girl Shelly was perplexed and told me this place never has cars and it sucks. I had been dropped off and needed a vehicle so she gave me a jeep commander at same price (which i found out should have been 50 dollars a day less).The car had no gas and was not cleaned but I had no choice. She gave me a slip saying gas empty (E) and said just return it empty.I dropped it at airport when finished and she assured me no drop off fee and wrote it on contract.
