Budget Car Rental

I had a great experience with Budget Rental Cars thanks to Tina. The first vehicle I was placed in was a Mazda that unfortunately did not have a functioning infotainment system. It would not connect to my phone, and basic features like radio and Bluetooth were not responding properly. When I brought this to Tina’s attention, she immediately stepped in to help. She was professional, understanding, and proactive. She quickly got me into a different rental vehicle that worked perfectly and, to my surprise, was even better on gas than the original car. Tina truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and completely satisfied with my rental. We pre paid for a full size rental and a pick up time of 0830. We show up at 0800 to then be told we have nothing available at that size or larger. We had this rental reserved for over a week because we were picking up my family from the airport in Wilmington. They said the next available vehicle will be at 1140. We show back up at 1230 just to give them time to clean the vehicle. We show up and the individual at the desk looked at us as if he had never seen us even though we were there 4 hours earlier. Then to be told there was nothing available again and we don't know what to tell you. Now we are currently still waiting for an answer from their manager on what they can do for us. We will now miss our 2:30 reservation for Valentine's Day dinner and potentially be late to picking up my fam

I had booked on November 3rd, a elite suv (yukon denali) for November 27-29th from OAJ. I received a call on November 26th stating a hauler came, and grabbed most of their cars/suv's for other locations due to demand. I was asked if a RAV 4 was acceptable, I needed to see the size of the car to confirm. I asked the male on the phone can he confirm it will be a RAV 4, or can he confirm at all what type of car it will be because i needed a bigger size, hence the SUV i originally rented. I was told "we will see what we have when you get here tomorrow." I arrive thanksgiving day at 8:30 am only to see a small car sized Hyundai in the lot. I go inside to check the rental status and was told they only have a 14 passenger cargo/person van. Which is a massive jump from either option i was told. Ha

We had the Toyota Camry, which was a wonderful and amazing vehicle. The customer service rep. Josh was amazing very keen to detail, and I would definitely if coming through North Carolina would go through their company anytime.

Josh was amazing. Helped out quite a bit. Awesome customer service . Highly recommend getting his assistance on any reservation. Takes pride in carrying the place on his shoulders and you can immediately tell. This was in the OAJ location.
