Budget Car Rental

This is the second time I’ve rented from this location right after they changed management. The new owner and their employees are an upgrade of the old management. I never had to worry about non fulfillment of reservation compared to what I experienced before. Twice I was given an upgraded rental and my loves the cars that we rented.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They confirmed my car was ready, then tried to upcharge me for a different one because they were out of stock. After hours of being bounced between locations and waiting in lines, I was given a dirty car with 10% battery. I had to go charge it myself immediately. They didn't honor my quote and added "extension fees" that weren't disclosed. Total bait and switch. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

When I arrived for pick up, the employee could not figure out how to run the credit card for 30 minutes. On drop off, the door was locked, there was no key drop box, the local phone number posted to contact the manager went unanswered, and there were no text responses. On pickup, the car also had half a tank of gas and a cracked windshield.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I made reservations for a 3 day rental, my plans changed and within 7 hours of me having the vehicle I returned it. I was met by a young lady, I believe her name was Shirleen. I explained to her that I was returning the car early, was there anything I needed to do, she said no, the man outside with Shirleen told me to go inside. At the front desk I was greeted by an unhappy faced guy looking like he just chewed lemon peels. I explained my situation to him telling him the man outside told me to come inside. He stated you didn't have to come inside. He and Shirleen both assured me to just leave the car and everything would be OK. Upon receiving my credit card statement I was billed for all three days. Horrible service. I had a reservation for 12:30pm. I flew in from out of state and arrived at 2:50pm to "oh my system is down and we don't have trucks" ok so what have you " the owner been doing since 8AM open time?" He said there is nothing he can do and handed me the number to Corp!! Customer service !? I got no courtesy call, email or text. Then he lied to me saying he did call. I asked him what number and how if the system was down and that's when the Hermacio or whatever his name is ( declined to repeat his name or to clarify or offer a card). The door was locked and he came off very bothered.
