Buggy Bath Car Wash — City Heights

The spot fee rinse I used for 2½ minutes was exactly what left hundreds of spots all over the vehicle after a full separate rinse, and no I won't call a number to have to repeat the process again for a free wash. The time one wastes is worth about eight times more. You know if a self serve is maintained well when the "spot-free" rinse actually leaves well-rinsed vehicle, >spot free<!

It's like you have to pay for every tool that you use. I had to pay for the soap I had to pay for the brush I had to pay for the water and then to top it off the vacuum is not even included,and the blower to get the water off didn't even work. My car has never looked worse, a million water spots. I can't believe I wasted my time and my money... TWO THUMBS DOWN.

Well, while visiting a friend, and getting ready to hit the road the next day, I needed to get the car washed. Since this place was pretty close, I decided to go here. Now, considering how busy this place was, I am surprised that I am giving it such a low rating. After waiting several minutes for the guy ahead of me to finish, I drove into the Bay. I got change and inserted $3 in tokens. Now, for three bucks, one can expect miracles. However, when I had the selector on Rinse, some colored detergent was coming out of another hose. Once I finally found the rinse part, I rinsed my car off really good, before going for the spot-free rinse. I was able to finish the car on the $3, but the next day the car was covered with hard water spots. And, one still has to pay for vacuuming.

Update 3/10/2022: still the best vacuums around. Just took all the hair out of a rental vehicle that I packed with dogs for work. I really liked this carwash, they must have made some repairs since others have reviewed. I'm REALLY impressed with the suction of the vacuums. The tire spray ran out as I was using it but, seeing as it's Monday, I'm just going to guess they got a lot of business this weekend and haven't replenished yet. I also love the hand dryer and that the wash takes cards. I spent a little under $20 on the wash and vacuum and I'm so happy with how clean it turned out. Yes, you can go through a drive- through wash for the same price but, in my experience, the automated washes just don't clean my van well enough. Maybe they have new management, because all the equipment worked fine and I was able to clean my car for around $5. Many of the self service, 24-hour car washes are poorly maintained with broken equipment and old, gutless vacuums. This place is pretty decent compared to most.
