Byers Airport Subaru Service Center

I have all of the service performed on my Subaru at this location. My car is one year old, so I only have had it serviced twice. My impression is that this service department is straightforward and honest. The service advisors are courteous and professional. They do not try to upsell you for services that make money for the dealership that are not called out for in the owner manual. Nor do they try to scam you with fabricated repairs, supported by stock photos showing the need for a repair. This is one of the reasons I switched from decades of owning Toyota to owning Subaru. I always have my new car serviced at the dealer where I purchased the car from. This is why the service department is so important to me.

Honestly, these techs are very thorough and honest. I’ve been here twice for minor issues and both times they’ve conducted themselves very professionally. Yesterday, they found two wheel studs broken from work done by a different shop who previously inspected my tires. Byers helped me get refunded by having a well documented service sheet. This also resolved the noise issue I initially came in for. My car is also ceramic coated and they always ensure no wash which is a great comfort as I’ve had it happened before at a different dealership. If you own a Subie I highly recommend getting any oil changes and maintenance done here. Thank you Matthew and the maintenance tech who worked on my Subaru yesterday.

Went in for oil change n control arms. Well, they literally forgot the oil change despite the sticker being 200 mi over. Had to wait n extra hour. They offer me 100 off but I already had 100 off coupon. Then I leave n tire pressure light comes on. I waited in that lobby for 2 hours n I'm the one who noticed my car was done!!! No one came and got me. I'll go to Dublin next time. Except for Thomas, staff at desk are not friendly.

Had an oil change done today and they told me I needed new tires (just replaced 2 of them months ago). I asked to see the measurements from their machine that checks the tires when you enter and they refused to show me. They sent an “inspection” video and it showed the tires were fine, but the paperwork they gave me after showed they needed replaced. Not sure they are being totally honest, feels like they are just wanting to make more money anyway they can. I won’t be going back

Whether it be the express lane service or a scheduled appointment, we are always taken care of. Great communication and always timely service. All the service advisors are very well trained and can count on them to answer any questions or address concerns we may have.
