I recently visited the Olathe Caliber Collision for car repairs and had a disappointing experience from start to finish. When I first called, the receptionist sounded like I was wasting her time. Upon arriving, I asked if they were a Honda-certified repair shop, and she dismissively replied, “That’s a 2008 Honda,” which came off as rude and unprofessional. When I later spoke with Maria, she also made it seem like speaking with me was an inconvenience. A few days later, I was informed that the repair estimate was just above the total loss value of my car. I decided to pick up my vehicle and take it to another body shop instead. Caleb was wonderful with customer service and communication but I have got to give 1 star due to the receptionist. Each time I came in it was the same woman with glasses and short hair. She never would greet me and always gave me rude tone and attitude with whatever I said. If she hates her job so much I can think of dozens of places hiring for front desk positions, but maybe front of house is not for someone like her. I was also not impressed with being yelled at for having a supposed “tone” on the phone when I was worried about possibly being hit on the highway and was calling to find out if I could continue to drive now that my car had lit up saying it was overheated.
