California Smog LLC (Star Station)

I like this place because of the quick service and friendly Mechanic, he a very respectful young man, makes you feel comfortable in his shop with lively conversation. It is a few dollars more than some of the other a shop, but by far definitely worth it. There is a small mexican food shop inside the gas station and food is awesome. Grabbed a quick bite, nice atmosphere, car was done! They have perfect setup here.

I do not recommend this place. It's a rip off. They charge you $70 if your car fails a smog test. Poor customer service.

Would’ve went for my last smog check, but closed early on Saturday

Good service is hard to come by and they were excellent. Very professional. Answered ever question. They made the process quick and easy. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Avoid this business. I was lured in by the low price quote for smog check, but he was looking for a reason to fail my car in a very sneaky way too. He failed to ask me about a waiver I had gotten to use another alternative catalyst for my exhaust because the original one was stolen. By the time I knew what was going on, he reported a permanent "Tamper" entry on my car with the California DMV which will be registered with my car permanently forever now (which had no issues other than a brand new catalyst approved by DMV). Fortunately I was able to have it smogged for free at a referee station after this incident, but the "Tamper" record cannot be erased from the history of the vehicle. I just don't like this guy's sneaky behavior going behind my back and falsely declaring my perfectly fine
