Campers Inn RV of Tucson

I had a disappointing experience with Campers Inn RV while inquiring about a 2024 Grand Design 381MS and wanted to share it so other buyers are aware of the pricing practices I encountered. The unit was initially advertised at $89,777, with additional charges of $2,225 for freight and $1,495 for prep. During my discussions with Matt, the salesperson, I asked that the freight fee be waived, and it was. Before I made a decision, the advertised price dropped to $82,977, about a $7,000 reduction. At the same time, the freight charge increased to $4,580. I was told by Matt that the freight was only dropped to $2,225 to “help me out,” without even telling me what the full freight price was but after recalculating, the new total was only $2,842 less than my previous quote. We scheduled an appointment for a roof leak, they suggested a strip and seal, which we did, still had a the leak. We had the roof resealed front to back and it fixed the major leak but we still had the leak in the bathroom. We then had a water pipe burst due to mice activity and destroyed our slide controller, they replaced the damaged water line but caused a disconnect at the aqua hot, we arrive to pick up our motorhome to find it with water pouring out. The response: “I didn’t do that, I fixed the leak on the other side”, they lost our keys and searched for an hour to find them on their desk. We bought a travel trailer from this place. Before we picked it up we did a walk through and this was after it was supposedly in the shop. We noticed that some of the vents were not working for ac and heat. They told us they would take it back into the shop and check it out . We had them haul travel trailer to Phoenix. Come to find out the issues we told them about were NOT looked at. The vents do not work. There is also A LOT of leaks in our travel trailer. The trailer was also supposed to be cleaned. It was nasty. We found articles of clothing along with other things from im assuming the previous owner. We tried to get a hold of them to voice our concerns countless times. UPDATE: A customer support member has responded to my review asking for me to email them my contact information. I did that at 7:20AM 11/24/25. It is now 11/25/25 at 5:00 PM and I've finally gotten ahold of one person in Tampa of all places to assist me. The only individual that has been slightly helpful and stuck to their word is Mark (or marcus) a Sales Rep in Tampa. He said he'd have someone call me back and he actually stuck to his word. The Tampa GM did call and confirmed that my motor home in Tucson has NOT been sold. "It just says that during the transition." So, it took 6 days to get that simple information out of this company. I had initially gone to another RV dealership. They ignored my request even after filling out an application for financing. After my 4th call trying to get The Finance Lady on the line i gave up and went looking for another dealership. I inquired online about a couple of models on a weekend. I called in Monday morning to see if I could follow up. Jason answered and was my guy from the get go. Always making me feel welcomed and like family. Everyone after Jason was as amazing if not more.
