Camping World - Kansas City

My family bought a brand new camper here! Couldn’t even enjoy it the first weekend we took it out, we are a family of 6 with little ones and a newborn. Our AC froze up, and we were miserable all weekend. So after hours of arguing with them, telling us they were waiting on parts, they call and tell us they’re ready to work on our camper. Drove 2.5 hours to drop the camper off. After that we waited months to hear from them, after several phone calls they tell us they’re still waiting on parts because the parts they “ordered” were wrong. At this point they have now had the camper the entire time we’ve owned it. With it only having a one year warranty I asked them if there was any chance they could extend it by 5 months to make up for the time they’ve had the camper in case future problems ari

This review is specifically for Will W the salesman and Kaylee T in finance. Will was a tremendous help. Unlike a previous store I visited, Will listened to me and heard what was important, he was polite, informative, and not pushy (pet peeve of mine). As for Kaylee, hats off to her. This woman knows finance and what she's doing. She was so kind and kept me updated on progress every step of the way as we had a few hurdles to get over. Best part was that she's honest, you know exactly what your paying for with her, no hidden fees no BS, just facts. In the end, Kaylee was the one who made this purchase possible in my opinion and I'd make the drive again just to have her as my finance person. Thanks Will and Kaylee yall are literally the best.

We purchased our first camper/toy hauler the day before Christmas. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted or needed…enter Tyrone! He listened, showed us three that were PERFECT fits for us, and was super patient as I went back and forth…and back and forth…etc… Everything at Camping World went smoothly and quickly! Kaylee knew every detail of every single warranty available and April’s attention to each detail of the title work made the closing process so smooth and we received the title a lot sooner than I excepted! We are extremely happy with our experience here. When/if the time comes to upgrade, we’ll definitely be returning customers.

On a whim, my wife and I, both recently retired, decided to look at RVs and Travel trailers with no intention to make a purchase. We have NEVER even looked at, or even discussed using, or purchasing one at length. I’d like to add, we knew NOTHING about anything when it came to campers and RVs. We met with Tyrone when it was freezing outside and windy. He broke down the types of campers and RVs down in layman terms and walked us through each type. When we explained what we might do and the size of our family, he was able to show us the perfect class A coach and did not pressure us, even after we returned two more times and he took the time to show us the features and the differences, pros and cons of each.
