Camping World - New Braunfels

We had purchased a Drv fifth wheel from Camping world new Braunfels, Texas. We traveled from South Florida to to new Braunfels, Texas to pick it up we asked to have her bearing serviced. The pre-trip was fine upon leaving the dealership 500 miles into the way home in Mississippi. We noticed oil Soaked rim. They failed to put a seal ring on the oil cap resulting in dry bearings on the axle a nightmare on Martin Luther King weekend for me and my wife. We went to Biloxi Mississippi, Camping world, as instructed they had no clue how to repair or fix a morryde suspension oiling system. It was left to myself to forage parts and limp home to Florida where I’m having to do the repair myself all for a $.60 O-ring Not put in left me with a 4 1/2 day nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend anybody go here. I went in about a week and a half ago to inquire about a camper for my recently ill father. My plan was to move him out here to be closer to family, so I went in there to see what I needed to do to sign on a camper for him. I went in knowing my credit isn’t great, so I spoke to the salesman and said essentially I’m trying to figure out exactly what I need to put as a down payment to be able to finance one because of the less than stellar credit. I explained to him that I am a disabled veteran with a decent amount of passive and expendable income to make up for the poor credit and that I needed to know what I needed to put as a down payment. My visite was very impressive from start to finish especially starting with Oscar who took the time and explained much about the RV that caught my interest. The finace department was also helpful explaining certain perks and allowed time to go over information that may have been confusing or misunderstood. Great team and looking foward with completing our unfinish business. Thanks guys and continue your great customer service.

I took my camper to sell and filed an insurance claim instead. When we got the camper back it was not as clean and both solar batteries were drained to zero; replacement is $250 each. They still work, but not as well as before. The repair work itself was actually very good.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Larry at the parts desk. Unfortunately we had a blowout on our RV on a Sunday. We were stranded with my senior citizen father, and 6 year old nephew with over 1000 miles between us and home. We already put on our spare, but had a second tire that was showing steel belts. All though I don’t understand why a camper store wouldn’t have a single spare in stock, that’s not why I’m leaving this review. It was Mr. Larry’s response that we were “S.O.L.” when we asked for recommendations of what to do. Then just continued talking to the other employee behind the desk.
