March 3, 2025 Campos Tire replaced a tire on my boat trailer. HE DID NOT TIGHTEN THE LUGS TIGHT ENOUGH. 100 miles away on Highway 5 the whole wheel and tire came OFF. I never saw the wheel again. Don't know exactly when it happened. Don't know if it hit another car or almost caused an accident to oncoming traffic. I found the wheel missing off of my trailer on my next stop. Luckily, it was on a three axle trailer and did not damage my trailer except for 5 tire studs and lugs. I had to replace $50. The main point = COMPOS TIRED DID NOT CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY OR GIVE ME ANY REFUND EVEN THOUGH THEIR NEGELANCE CAUSED ME MORE MONEY THAN JUST THE TIRE REPAIR. Even after I showed them picturs to verify my loss, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!

Yeah guy here was great! He helped my husband out big time with a valve stem for his tire when he was on his way to work... Now if only we could find a set of 33"x12.5x15 tires for cheap (or 32"), lol . But their prices are very comparable to ones in the city, so I'm not complaining. Friendly guys

Little high priced !! Only decent tire service in the Taft area

Great local tire shop, fast service, fair price. I had a flat tire during my camping trip at Carrizo Plains. Came here and got it fixed in 10 minutes. The price is very fair, despite my obviously tourists look. They have even checked pressure for all my other tires. Very honest service shop just like the old time. Highly recommended.

Fast efficient and kind. The prices are hard to beat for very good used tires.
