While riding through Huntsville, Tennessee, I experienced a flat tire on my motorcycle. After pushing it nearly a mile, I came across Capitol Auto. I asked if I could leave the bike there until I found a motorcycle shop. The owner smiled and said, “If it has a tire, I can fix it.” I explained that it was an older German motorcycle with a single-sided swing arm — not exactly a common setup. Without hesitation, he assured me he could handle it. And he did! He removed the tire, replaced the valve stem, remounted, and balanced it — all for just $40. That level of skill and honesty is rare. A dealership would have easily charged three to four times that amount. Thanks to his help, I was able to continue my 700-mile journey without a single worry. What a great experience and great ambassador

Stephen came through when I lost a wheel off my trailer. He fixed and brought the trailer to me which allowed me to enjoy my ride at Brimstone. I recommend this guy for anyone that needs some work done. He is honest and trustworthy.

The owner of Capital Auto saved my vacation. I was stranded at a campground with a camper that wouldn't go over 5mph. A different mobile mechanic had already tried to figure out the problem and replaced the map sensor, but that still didn't fix it. However, I was given Trotter's number and after only an hour, he figured out the exhaust brake was stuck on! He got my camper back running enough to make the long trip back to Florida without me having to leave the camper here and rent a vehicle. Can't thank him enough! Awesome mechanic and very reasonably priced!

Got a flat heading home to Indianapolis, thankfully was able to make it to Capital Auto and was back on the road in an hour. Nice guys, honest work, and reasonably priced! Highly recommend!
