I cannot thank the team at Mavis in Madison enough for their honesty and kindness. My daughter was preparing for a long drive from Mississippi to Fort Huachuca, AZ, to begin her military enlistment. We originally took her car to Car Care Clinic in Ridgeland for a safety check, where they were we were quoted a lot of money for spark plugs and other "necessary" repairs. ​Seeking a second opinion, I remembered the great service I received at this Mavis location years ago. They treated us with such respect and did a thorough diagnostic. The result? They confirmed the car was actually in great shape and needed no work for the trip, charging us nothing for the peace of mind. It is rare to find a shop with this much integrity. While working in Jackson I brought my car for diagnostics and repair for front wheel noise. The shop indicated to replace suspension parts, I authorized. Later that day they indicated to replace the tires and I was offered Pirelli tires, ( my car takes run-flat tires) and I picked up my car at the end of the day as I need to drive back to Texas the next day. When I made it home I noticed I had 2 Pirelli and 2 Continental tires on each side of the car. I returned to Jackson 4 days later and contacted the shop asking them to provide a full set of Pirelli tires I was offered. I was never informed or asked to get mixed tires, neither informed about it when I picked up the car. I brought the car back and dropped it off asking them to give me a full set of the same tires. My daughter recently had some work done at your location. She requested or suggested a few things when she left her vehicle there. 1. Did not want the THROTTLE BODY cleaned ($75.00)--which was done!!! 2. Provide any and all old parts (which did not receive, had to return and get them [out of the trash] !!) 3. She provided the error code PO301[Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected] (which I ran before her taking the vehicle there) to the management and was ignored!! And this was the problem. 4. Please break out separate prices for parts, labor, misc., etc. (which was not done!!) Thank you for getting her vehicle repaired, but you do not follow orders or request. Maybe you should be more customer friendly!!

Very disappointing, especially from an AAA shop. I brought it in at 0730 on Friday for a 3 to 4 hour repair, and still do not have my vehicle running on Saturday afternoon. Over-promise and under-delivered, which impacted my work activities the next week. No apologizes, only complaining on the impact to their shop. Very disappointing.

As of now, this is the place for me to take my car when it needs service. Great service and great prices. Keep up the good work!
