I was getting ready to head home back to Florida after spending a week and a half with my son and daughter in law for Christmas. When I went to leave my car smelled liked melted wax and wasn’t over heating but was smoking under the hood, New Year’s Day, nothing was open but I called CARFIX first thing on the second and they got me right in and diagnosed exactly what I thought it to be was a leaking valve cover. Replacement and cleaning up was writhing the parameters of that spectrum of work fair priced and ready the same day. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable and the staff is kind and on point. They have courtesy vehicles if you want to grab a meal while waiting or need a ride back. I had an issue with our 2020 Ford Explorer. I took it to Car Fix and they took my car in right away and gave me a much better estimate than Ford gave me. They ordered the part, called me in a couple days later and had my car fixed and ready to go the same day. Excellent service and I will be using them again for oil change and if any mechanical problems arise in the future. Just a great place and I’m very satisfied with their service!.

Car Fix made a very stressful experience not stressful and straightforward. They were able to see my car immediately and diagnose the problem quickly, and they helped me have a loaner before getting my car back to me within 24 hours. I am grateful for their kindness, support, and help and will be going to them for any future car issues.

Car Fix is head and shoulders above its competitors, and it’s not even close. We were halfway through our 12 hour trip when the battery light came on. After changing the battery, we got no results. Fortunately, Car Fix was nearby. We explained our situation that we were traveling cross country and their techs volunteered to stay over lunch to get us back on the road. This was an act of kindness I wanted to highlight because they aren’t just a “mechanic shop”. They’re community builders and an example for how it’s done.

Overall, I appreciate the service and professionalism here. I do want to be honest about my experiences. My first visit wasn’t great — I paid around $150 for a diagnosis and nothing was found, which later made me feel like I didn’t get much value from it. More recently, I paid about $850 to have my headers leak fixed. While I really appreciate the amount of time and effort the team put into the job (they spent basically their whole day working on it), I was a bit disappointed that the exhaust system wasn’t thoroughly checked for leaks afterward. For a job at that price, I expected a more complete final inspection. That said, I genuinely want to give credit where it’s due.
