Herb is EXTREMELY unprofessional. He’s a liar. Herb had my boyfriend car for four months, after he told him it would be done within a month. He also paid him half down on the vehicle. I would not recommend this place to anyone. During these four months it was times Herb would not answer his phone or even be at the shop during the week. He gave my boyfriend the run around. After four months my boyfriend decided to remove his vehicle from this particular shop. Herb decided to call St. Bernard parish police officers and he also said that he did not want to work on the vehicle anyway. He was very hostile and unprofessional. This is what happens when you try to support SOME black owned businesses

HERBERT GOLDEN IS THE WORST PERSON TO DO BUSINESS WITH, PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM HIS BUSINESS IN DECEMBER 2024 AND WAS NOT GIVEN A TITLE ONLY A BILL OF SALE AND TEMPORARY REGISTRATION........ TODAY IS 04/22/2025 IT HAS BEEN 5 MONTHS OF CALLING HIM AND GOING TO HIS BUSINESS ONLY TO BE TOLD EVERY SINGLE TIME THAT THE TITLE IS COMING IT WILL BE HERE SOON AND IT NEVER COMES. IT IS ILLEGAL IN LOUISIANA TO SELL A VEHICLE WITHOUT A TITLE YET HE IS SELLING VEHICLES WITHOUT TITLE,S. CAR WORLD NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Do not go here. Herb had my car a whole month after he told me it would take a week. Then he blocked my number because I call to check the status of MY CAR AFTER I PAID HIM IN FULL. Unprofessional. He called me everyday begging to fix my car but now that he have the car he isn’t producing it. Please don’t go here. If I could leave no star I would.

Herb was very helpful. He and his team went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Even assisted with body repairs and the initial job was under the hood work. Thank you! I would definitely recommend this company!
