After a frustrating & disappointing 24 hours of our brand new engine rebuild letting us down (while in the water) & traveling 4&1/3 hours for a family vacay to Havasu, my husband was determined to get our boat working again… a friend recommended Carburetion Specialties & Performance, & hubby rushed right over where Dwayne, Tammy & cow dog Daisy were eager to help. WOW!! Dwayne came highly recommended to me by other boat repair shops in town and man, were they right!!! We had nothing but issues with our boat running and had other shops look at it and it seemed like they were guessing. Dwayne had me bring it in and based on my description of the problem, he went right to work. He found that we needed a head job and new valves very quickly. I felt very confident in his recommendation and asked him to get it done. I had the boat back quickly, efficiently and at what I felt was a fair price. Carburation Specialties has been a great asset to my wife and I. We have had several of our rods in the shop and without exception Dwayne has always taken care of each and every little, and big thing brought to him. He is very detail oriented and sees things that we might well miss. He has never let us down and is so very honest and up front with everything. I was told that Dwayne at carburetion specialties was good, I pulled up to see if I if he could do it, and make an appointment, he came out, looked at it for a second , he went back in his shop came out with a floor jack gently held the motor , took of the motor mount, extracted the broken bolt, put back on the motor mount, with the motor red hot, unbeleivable! This guy is no joke , a master mechanic, I would of been stoked to pay wat ever he said , hese like, don't worrie about it, merry Christmas,
