Carefree Village Resort

This park has a lot of great amenities, including amazing Pickleball! But, to its detriment there are flags, flags, and more flags!! Every site is allowed to install a 20 ft. Flagpole with one or more flags! Considering there are 536 sites that is alot of flags!! The wind blows 14 mph most days with wing gusts 30-40 mph during January-March. If you love the sound of a whipping, snapping, clanging flag this is a perfect place for you!!||I ordered a double-wide manufactured home and moved in October 2025. Had a screen room installed just off the kitchen so we could enjoy the outdoors. However, because of a 20 foot flagpole with two 4x6 flags that was installed 6 ft. from our room we were unable to enjoy the space because of the constant squeaking, clanging, snapping pole! We are full time Rv people and have been on the road for seven years. We decided last season to spend the winter in this park. We were so happy with this resort we came back this year. There are so many perks from bowling to pickleball. There is something every evening as far as cards, bingo, bunco, Mexican train, nickel bingo and so on. |There are manufactured home also in this park. It about balanced with the amount of rv’s…the folks are nice and welcoming. We all get along well. I feel that if there is someone not happy here they should move on.

This is the best RV Resort! Super friendly staff and guests. Has a very “Resort” vibe. Huge sites, two heated pools and hot tubs, with food at the pool! It has a lot of pickleball courts, golf putting area, bowling alley, theater you can rent, and all of the clubhouse activities, cards, line dancing, and outdoor music by the pools frequently! Really great location for shopping and restaurants. We have stayed here a month, each of the two previous years. We booked for three months next year!

Without a doubt the rudest front office in my 7 year road trip life. No smile. No welcome. Decided to go elsewhere.

October 2024 We rented in this park in 23-24 season and decided to buy a manufactured home. I would not recommend doing that to anyone. The whole process was long and painful, very disappointing! Once we moved in, our neighbor started targeting us and did everything in her power to make our life miserable. She installed a 20 foot flag pole, with a 4x6 flag (exceeding park regulations) inches from our property line and only a few feet from our screen room. It is so windy here that the flag pops, snaps, and bangs so loud we can hear it in our living room and has made our screen room unusable! We asked her to move it to “her” side of the driveway, but she refused! Management would do nothing to help mediate the situation which has become unbearable! She happens to be an employee that cr
