I had an excellent experience at Carls Service Station in Quinebaug, CT. I brought in my snowblower for repairs, and the service I received was outstanding from start to finish. Not only did they fix my snowblower quickly and professionally, but they also took the time to walk me through what I should and shouldn't do to properly maintain it. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I felt confident handling basic maintenance on my own. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and want to help prevent future problems, not just fix the current one. I highly recommend Carls Service Station to anyone in the Quinebaug area who needs small engine repairs or honest, dependable service. I'll definitely be coming back!

Came in with my Cub Cadet’s deck in need of a weld. They told me they were busy and it would take a week which was fine with me. They called 2 days later and told me it was done! they also sharped my blades and greased the spindles for a very reasonable price. Would recommend.

I've brought several repairs to these guys over the past couple of years, they've always done great work, reasonable pricing, and a quick turnaround. I've lived in the Thompson area for several years now and they are widely considered the go to place for small engine repair. They got some extra points in my book a few winters ago when we had the massive amount of snowstorms, I busted shear pins in my snowblower in the middle of the storm and they were open and had the right pins in stock. If you need something fixed, give them a call, it'll get done right

Tractor was revving really high regardless of throttle position. Called Steve. Said there was a 3 day backup. But could do the work. They picked it up that day. When he came to pick it up he immediately knew what was wrong. He was super informative and helpful. Said my problem could lead to bigger problems but didnt try to over sell. Replaced carburetor (which was the problem), added a fuel filter , tightened all the belts and even greased all the front end parts. Included. The best part they had it done the very next day. And dropped it back off. Steve was Honest and exceeded my expectations. Thanks

I did not have a good experience with Carl's. Sent my Cub Cadet lawn tractor to them for a seasonal tune up. When it came back, the hood was broken off at the mounts and placed back on to look like nothing had happened. They did not say a word to me about it. I discovered it shortly after getting it back. I also found a plate for the transmission release hanging in back of tractor. It did not go out that way. They claimed they knew nothing about it. I had to send it back to them for repair and pay them to fix it. It came back to me hooked up wrong. Will never go there again.
