DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CARMAX GAINESVILLE!!!!!! ⛔️ I purchased a BMW from this location in December. Within weeks — by early January — the vehicle began displaying warning lights and mechanical alerts on the dashboard. I reported these issues multiple times. Instead of properly diagnosing the vehicle or sending it to a BMW dealership for a comprehensive inspection, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed and minimized. Less than 90 days later, the vehicle overheated and became completely inoperable. It had to be towed to CarMax in Tampa, FL. I was then told they would not cover the repair and that it was “not their fault.” That response was not only dismissive — it was condescending. Selling my car to CarMax was a productive and pleasant experience. My vehicle had very low mileage, was in outstanding mechanical condition with all systems functioning great. Carmax's offer to buy my vehicle was the best from the several I had received. The CarMax staff was professional efficient and and they completely honored their quote. I highly recommend anyone buying or selling a vehicle to contact the folks at CarMax.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Picked out my car, received delivery. Filled out all necessary paperwork and went to the dealership. Did my test drive and completed a few signatures. Paid my down payment and was out the door. LOVE my car.

i would give zero stars if possible. i found a 2021 nissan altima s with 61,000 miles on it in jacksonville florida. i called my local carmax in gainesville florida and told them that i was interested in the vehicle. they had the vehicle shipped to the gainesville fl store. they texted me and told me the vehicle had arrived and passed there inspection and they wanted to set up a time for me to come test drive the vehicle. i had a appointment set up for 3 pm. i called them at 1 o'clock to see if anything else was need before i drove a hour. when i talked to gino the finance manager he advised me that the documents i submitted were insufficient because they were not in pdf form. he also advised me that there was a discrepancy in the paycheck stubs that were submitted to me from my employer.

2 stars for Smiling faces only. The inexperience here is evident. Apparently every one here is learning as they go. Hub & This store is on 2 completely different pages. Be prepared for a run around. I wish I wouldve went to Buford to start the buying process. You live and Learn!
