I had a positive experience with the service team at CarMax Attleboro. I purchased my 2015 Toyota Sienna from CarMax Attleboro in 2023, but unfortunately the wheel lock key was never provided. I didn’t realize this until 2026 when I went to replace my tires. Without the key, removing the wheel locks turned out to be a bigger problem than expected—several tire shops said they couldn’t remove them and advised me to go back to the place where I bought the car. After a couple of visits to CarMax explaining the situation, I met Shaun (apologies if I misspelled the name) at the service desk. He immediately understood the issue, scheduled me for an early appointment the next day, and assured me it would only take about an hour. My buying process at CarMax North Attleboro was the smoothest and easiest car shopping experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was transparent, professional, and hassle-free. I first came in to have my car appraised. CarMax gave me a fair value right away, and I was very happy with the offer. The appraisal was good for a week, so I had time to find the right vehicle. At first, the exact truck I wanted wasn’t on the lot, and shipping one in from another location would have been too costly. Amazing experience 100% they will provide you a full check for what they appraise your vehicle at. No commitments and No high pressure tactics whatsoever. In and out without typical dealer sales games, pressure tactics etc. If you want to buy or sell then great and if not then you walk away. Honestly can't figure out how they make money because the appraisal values provided are well above Online estimates and what other dealerships offer. Very happy with the figure they provided me for my vehicle and more happy that it was a no nonsense straightforward process without any games. Thank you very much to the team in North Attleboro. Remarkably pleasant experience! First time CarMax buyers, and I chose to try CarMax after being disgusted by my experience at a local dealership. What a change! At CarMax we were able to walk the lot, sit in any car we wanted to and check out size, layout and features without being accosted by salesmen. Test drives could be done alone. We bought after our 3rd visit, test driving the allowed 2 vehicles per visit. Love the no haggle price policy - which, by the way, extends to the warranty. The rep (I wouldn't even categorize them as salesmen, as they're a completely different breed from the dealership variety) does not run off to a manager or send you off to a finance guy for your next battle. Easily one of the easiest experiences I've had purchasing a vehicle, I looked for over a year for something to upgrade to after having to settle the year prior for an older car I really didn’t want. The associates at carmax were so nice and SO helpful I was in and out with papers signed and car financed and in my new car within 2 hours of my appointment. I absolutely love my new car!
